Interview with Enerfive, a K-water Water Round participant
– Providing smart power and energy management solutions based on smart distribution panels –
K-water fosters and supports digital water companies through its cloud-based digital platform, "Waterround," providing access to real-world water management data, cloud infrastructure, and a solution trading environment. Twelve Waterround participating companies participated in the "GMV 2023" event (September 12-13), and we interviewed the CEO of Enerfive, one of them.
Enerfive is a company that provides open API services that utilize smart distribution panel technology to build integrated app platforms for smart homes, zero-energy homes, and building energy management systems (BEMS). Key technologies include:
- Reduce electricity bills: Cut off unnecessary power through temperature and electrical sensors.
- Prevent electrical fires: Shut off power when anomalies are detected.
- Linkage to demand response (DR) services: Enables power control and monitoring for large-scale households.
- Establish a distributed energy model: Self-sufficient power supply utilizing renewable energy sources like solar and wind power and ESS.
Enerfive's distribution panel system enables energy savings and safety management through a smartphone application, and also supports participation in power demand management aligned with government policies. Our future goal is to implement an eco-friendly, distributed energy system through regional renewable energy production and storage.
